Free LSD!I don't know what idiot coined the phrase, 'the thrill of the hunt,' but he has obviously never looked for housing in a major metropolitan area.

Weekend three of my LA apartment hunt has come to a close, and still nothing I really like yet.  I'm being pretty picky, but my options have also been pretty shitty.

Did see one cool guest house in Laurel Canyon last week.  The owner, who lived in the main property, was giving me the tour/a history of Hollywood.  He was an old (but still very active) dude who had clearly seen his share of craziness.

However, things took a surprising turn for the crazy when he started listing off everything he was throwing in with the place.

Two parking spots.  A private patio.  And.. "You get... You get FREE LSD!!!"

Uh... WHAT did you say, old crazy guy?

"Free LSD!  I have it in MY house.  I'll give it to you for free!"

Eventually, I realized he meant free D-S-L, NOT free L-S-D.  Which makes much more sense.
