What I do, but with an accent12 Posted 03/12/07 @ 7:35 pm PST  Current UK launched today, meaning that, in addition to 40 million homes that get Current in the US, we now reach 10 million more viewers in the UK and Ireland. From what I understand, it's pretty rare for a new network to get international distribution so quickly - folks around the company are pretty psyched.Lots of the US content will air on the UK network, and vice-versa, but to personalize the channel to UK viewers, we've decided to make a special, local edition of Google Current. Which means... there is now a British knock-off of my show. AWESOME. It's so eerie - same background, different hosts, lots of British stories and slang. Now I know how the Pop Idol guys must feel when they see Ryan Seacrest doing their act in another country. Anyway, you can now watch Current on Sky 229 and Virgin 155.
